Water Reflections

1. Open your water image and save it as Displace.psd. This file will be refered as a "Displacement Map".
2. Flip a copy of the image to be reflected on the water.
3. Select an area with the Lasso Tool and move it (SHIFT+CTRL+UP) up against the remaining image.
4. Blur the reflection.
5. >Filter>Distort>Displace, and choose a large value for the Horizontal Scale and a smaller one for the Vertical Scale. 6. A dialog box will ask you to choose a Displacement Map: Select Displace.psd
7. Erase the darkest areas with a soft edge Eraser.
8. Reduce the Opacity (?) of the Reflection Layer to taste.
