Waterdrops and Glass Gems


1. Create your waterdrop or
Gems and Fill it with any color.

2. Create your waterdrop on a New Layer.

 

3. Make a Duplicate of your background image.

4. Select you shape (Hold CTRL+CLICK on the layer image), then turn off the Shape Layer (Click on the eye).

5. Inverse (SHIFT+CTRL+I) the selection and Delete.


6. Inverse (SHIFT+CTRL+I) the selection once again and distort your selection using >Filter>Distort>Spherize.

 

7. Under Layer Styles: add an Embossment, Inner Shadow and a very soft Drop Shadow.


6. You can also add color to your gems,
using Color Overlay.
