Vintage Photos (Aging)

1.
Open your image. |

2.
Convert to B&W
or use the Vintage Photo Tutorial. |

3.
Create a Vignette,
Darken the outer section. |

4.
Add Noise |
 |
5.
Fill a new Layer with white.
6.
>Filters>Texture>Grain, Grain Type=Vertical. |

7.
Remove some of the lines. |
 |
8.
Change the Layer Mode to Multiply and adjust the opacity
(?)
to taste. |

9.
Turn to Sepia. |
 |
10.
Add a nice texture or create a Chipping
Paint on a new Layer. |
 |
11.
Change the Layer Mode to Multiply and adjust the opacity to
taste. |
 |
12.
Erase the area covering the face. |
 |
13.
Crop your image. |
 |
14.
Have a little fun with Dodge and Burn Tools. |

15.
Create the "torn" areas on a new Layer. You could
also use a crumpled paper texture to create this (Tutorial Coming
soon!) |

16.
Fade and Add bevel. |
 |
17.
Adjust the curve (Reduce the output level for the black). |

Fine tune the tint. |
