Using the Patch Tool or the Healing Brush in PS7+ will not always work, so you need other tricks to fix parts of an image.

Here is the original image we will be using.

Method 1 (Photoshop CS Only)

1. Select a section of the good area (make sure you get all of the tones required) and Paste it on a New Layer.

2. Select the desired area with the Lasso Tool .
3. Feather

4. Select the original Layer and launch the Match Color dialog box >Image>Adjustments>Match Color.
5. Use the Good Color Layer as a source (Layer 2 in this case).

Voilà!

Method 2

1. Select a neutral skin tone from your image with the Eyedropper .
2. Paint on a New Layer using a soft brush .
3. Change the Layer Mode to Hue.

Method 3

1. Select the desired area with the Lasso Tool .
2. Feather

3. Open the Hue/Saturation dialog box.
4. Choose to Edit the Reds and modify the Saturation and Hue (CTRL+U).

Method 4

1. Select the desired area with the Lasso Tool .
2. Feather
3. Copy/Paste on a New Layer.

4. Copy/Paste a portion of the left side onto a New Layer.
5. Move this Layer to cover all of the previous one.

6. Group (CTRL+G) the two pasted Layers.
7. Adjust the top Layer to repair the desired area.

8. Adjust the Opacity to taste.
