Pencil Sketch

1. Open your image.

2. Make a duplicate

3. Turn to black and white (Desaturate)

4. Make a Duplicate of this Layer

5. Invert (CTRL+I)

6. Change the Layer Mode to Color Dodge.

***You will hardly see anything at this point but don't worry!

7. >Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur until you get the desired look.

This example uses a low value for the Gaussian Blur.

This example uses a medium value for the Gaussian Blur.

This example uses a high value for the Gaussian Blur.

The same technique was used here but the Desaturation was applied to the Inverted image only.
