Motion Blur

1. Extract and Use the Depth of Field trick for the background.

Option a) Duplicate the subject layer (or use a second shot), Blur it, Desaturate a bit and adjust the transparency to taste.
Option b) Use a Vignette Trick to Blur.
1. Make a selection using the elliptical marquee tool.
2. Feather the selection (CTRL+ALT+D).
Bbigger numbers will give you a bigger fade
3. Inverse the selection (CTRL+SHIFT+I).
4. Apply the Motion Blur Filter >Filter>Blur>Motion Blur
You could also only blur pieces of an image to create even more movement.

The original idea for this image came from the Photoshop message board on and I figured it could be a great image to showcase this trick.
