| For
some reasons (some) digital cameras will create a purple halo
around elements of your photos. |
 |
| It
will show up in blue, magenta or (most often) purple if you zoom
in on your image. |
 |
Here
is a few methods to remove these Color Aberrations from your
photos. |
 |
| |
|
Method
#1
1.
Create a new Layer.
2.
Select the color the area should be with the
Eyedropper Tool.
3.
Paint over the Fringing with a soft edge brush.
|
 |
2.
Change the Layer Blending Mode to Color. |
 |
| |
|
Method
#2
1.
Use the Sponge Tool to desaturate the Fringe.
|
 |
| |
|
Method
#3
1.
Bring up the Hue/Saturation Menu and select >Edit>Magentas
(or pick the color of the fringing with the Eyedropper).
2.
Reduce the Saturation.
To
avoid modifying colors in rest of the photo, you might want
to duplicate the Photo and create a mask that will only show
the fringe areas. (What a great excuse to buy a Wacom Graphic
Tablet)
